This unusual complete deck of 52 cards plus 2 Jokers features
Oakwood Santa Anita Racetrack and reproduction photos from 1889 of life in that
era such as scenery, people, buildings, horses, trainers, including the
champion thoroughbred racehorse EMPEROR OF NORFOLK. Also features Hotel Oakwood
which opened in 1889. It burned down in 1911 but was a gathering place for
horse race fans and others.
The cards are marked “Repro 1986” on the jokers. Reverse
cards are marked, “The OAKWOOD Santa Anita Ranch SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA.”
Includes original box.
All cards great condition with only a slight discoloration
top of 6 Hearts. Original box is intact but shows signs of open/closings.
