This is a beautiful high quality "Guest" badge for the 2003 Dubai World Cup, the world's richest race, with a renowned history. The badge is in very nice condition, and was made by WO Lewis in Birmingham, England.
The inaugural running was in 1996 and won by Cigar. Other prominent winners include Arrogate, California Chrome, Animal Kingdom, Curlin, Dubai Millenium, Street Cry, and Silver Charm.
In 2003 it was won by Godolphin's Moon Ballad.
