For sale is an original vintage winners’ circle photo from Miles Park in Louisville, Kentucky. It was taken after jockey Norman Cartwright rode Chevere Al to victory in a one-mile race on July 1, 1959. The horse was trained by Robert G. Napper and owned by Eldon Jacobs. The black-and-white photo measures 7 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches and is housed in its original 10 3/4- by 13-inch frame. This item is in very good condition (see photos). See my listings for other vintage items, including similar other photos. I gladly combine shipping fees for multiple purchases when they can be packaged together, and I do ship internationally.
Payment is expected within three days. Please e-mail me with any questions, and thanks for looking!
1973 Kentucky Derby Program prop from the 2010 movie Secretariat. Program belonged to a gentleman who was an extra in the movie. Reproduced prop program is in great shape. There are no marks on any of the pages. In my opinion this is a very rare program because so few were produced. Only certain individuals in the movie received one of these. I believe the easiest way to distinguish the real program versus the movie program is the derby page itself. The movie program is a lime green color were the official one is a darker green in color.
Picture #3 is the prop program & picture #4 is the official programs Derby page. You can definitely see a difference.
